Designed and operated FPV drone systems with a focus on performance optimization and real-time control. Configured flight controllers (Betaflight), tuned PID parameters, and analyzed system response under different flight conditions. Conducted iterative testing to improve stability, responsiveness, and efficiency, capturing and analyzing flight data to refine control strategies and hardware configuration.
Focused on optimizing chassis geometry and structural efficiency to achieve improved performance-to-weight ratio. Designed and developed an RC vehicle chassis with attention to structural integrity, weight distribution, and drivetrain integration — analyzing load paths and mechanical stresses, optimizing motor/battery/drivetrain layout, and integrating suspension, differential, and steering into one cohesive platform.
Hands-on repair and modification work on my own car — applying the same design and troubleshooting mindset from the RC and drone builds to a full-size vehicle. Photos coming soon.
Quality inspection for motors and components used in industrial robotics and defense applications. Supported incoming, in-process, and pre-shipment inspection; dimensional inspection with 3D measurement/scanning equipment; resistance and inductance testing; and motor operation/drive testing to catch defects before shipment.
Led a Sigma Chi Mu Tau team on an IBM-sponsored project evaluating 15+ logistics providers (DHL, UPS, USPS, Amazon, Maersk) for future RFQ sourcing strategy — CTQ criteria, SWOT, and Pugh matrix frameworks, plus dual-sourcing and regional optimization recommendations.
Industry-sponsored research benchmarking AI-driven route optimization, warehouse drone inventory management, and logistics chatbots against case studies from Mondelez, Amazon, and Verity — comparing Gurobi AI against UTZ's existing Blue Yonder TMS.
Proposed a replaceable battery pack system for diesel-free mining trucks with a battery swap station and regenerative braking, aimed at improving energy efficiency and cutting downtime.
Obtained the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate through Pilot Institute's Part 107 program.
